Man opens fire at factory after being fired from work; several injuries reported

A spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate (PSD) said today that a man opened fire randomly inside a factory in Aqaba this morning after being dismissed from his job some time ago.

The shooter fled the scene, and a search is underway.

The incident resulted in two foreign nationals being injured by gunfire. They were transported to the hospital and are currently receiving treatment.

Additionally, a Jordanian employee was hospitalized after sustaining injuries from a fall. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
