Licensing Department implements Cabinet decision on expired licenses
The Drivers and Vehicles Licensing Department will begin implementing the Cabinet’s decision on Wednesday morning to exempt vehicles with expired licenses from additional fees and provide streamlined services to the public.
The department encourages eligible citizens to visit its offices during regular working hours, including all fixed branches and mobile stations, even the mobile stations operating after hours.
The Licensing Department assured that it is fully prepared to offer efficient services and ease the process for vehicle owners.
This initiative is designed to reduce the financial burden on owners of vehicles with expired licenses, simplify registration and renewal procedures for those whose vehicles have been unlicensed for years, and contribute to road safety and the protection of public well-being.
