Israeli Occupation’s aggression in Gaza reaches 305 days
On the 305th day of Israeli Occupation’s ongoing assault on Gaza, the Pentagon announced that several US soldiers were injured in a rocket attack on the Al-Asad base, which hosts American forces in western Iraq.
Meanwhile, Israeli Occupation Forces killed four Palestinians and wounded eight others in the town of Aqaba, north of the occupied West Bank.
As Israeli Occupation airstrikes continued across various parts of Gaza, Hamas’ military wing, Al-Qassam Brigades, claimed responsibility for targeting Israeli Occupation soldiers and vehicles in Gaza and Khan Younis, as well as detonating explosives against an engineering unit east of Rafah.
Israeli Occupation sources confirmed that seven of their soldiers were injured in the area.
In response to the assassination of Hamas political leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard announced plans for a new and unexpected form of retaliation. President Biden also met with his national security team following reports that an Iranian response could occur within 24 hours.
Al-Qassam Brigades initiated Operation Aqsa Typhoon on October 7 in retaliation for Israeli Occupation’s violations in the occupied Palestinian territories.
Israeli Occupation, in turn, launched a military operation against Gaza named “Iron Swords,” resulting in hundreds of deaths, thousands of injuries, and widespread destruction.
The death toll among Israeli Occupation soldiers has risen to 689 since October 7, with 329 killed since the start of the ground offensive on October 27. According to the military, 4,252 soldiers have been injured, with 631 in serious condition.
Gaza Health Ministry reported two massacres committed by Israeli Occupation Forces against families in the Gaza Strip, resulting in 33 deaths and 118 injuries in the past 24 hours. The total number of casualties since October 7 now stands at 39,583 dead and 91,398 injured.
