Israeli Occupation continues its aggression on Gaza for the 283rd day
The Israeli Occupation continues its assault on Gaza for the 283rd consecutive day, committing further massacres and genocide against civilians. The ongoing attacks have resulted in the deaths of 38,584 Palestinians and injured 88,881 others.
In a recent attack, the Israeli Occupation targeted the Abu Araban School, operated by UNRWA in the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza. The school, sheltering thousands of displaced people, saw at least 15 Palestinians killed, mostly women and children, and dozens injured.
There have been conflicting reports regarding Hamas’s stance on ceasefire negotiations in Gaza. AFP cited a senior Hamas leader on Sunday, stating that the movement decided to halt ceasefire negotiations. However, Hamas leader Izzat Al-Rishq denied these claims, asserting that the news was unfounded.
The number of Israeli Occupation soldiers killed has risen to 682 since October 7, with 326 fatalities since the ground operation began on October 27. According to the Israeli Occupation military, 4,167 soldiers have been injured, with 618 in critical condition, 1,048 moderately injured, and 2,501 with minor injuries.
Operation Al-Aqsa Flood
On October 7, Hamas’s military wing, the Al-Qassam Brigades, launched Operation Al-Aqsa Flood in response to Israeli Occupation violations in the occupied Palestinian territories. In retaliation, the Israeli Occupation initiated a military operation named “Iron Swords,” conducting intense airstrikes across Gaza. These strikes have resulted in hundreds of deaths, thousands of injuries, and the widespread destruction of buildings, residential towers, institutions, and infrastructure.
