Israeli Occupation Forces raid homes of former Palestinian prisoners

The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) raided the homes of several former Palestinian prisoners early Monday morning in occupied East Jerusalem, as reported by the Palestinian news agency WAFA.

During the raids, IOF soldiers seized money and personal property including cars, local sources said.

The head of the committee of families of former Jerusalem prisoners Amjad Abu Assab said the IOF raided the homes of at least 16 former prisoners in several neighborhoods, taking all cash they found, in addition to jewelry and vehicles.

The property was seized under the pretext that the former prisoners were receiving allowances and salaries from the Palestinian Authority.
