“Israeli” aggression on Gaza continues for 279th day
The Israeli Occupation continues its aggression on the Gaza Strip for the 279th consecutive day, by land, sea, and air.
The relentless attacks resulted in the martyrdom of more than 38,295 Palestinians, most of them women and children, and the injury of over 88,241 others.
The occupation army persists in demolishing buildings and committing massacres against civilians in the Strip.
The latest atrocity was the demolition of residential buildings in the center of Rafah city in southern Gaza at dawn on Thursday.
Additionally, the occupation forces carried out a new massacre in the town of Abasan Al-Kabira east of Khan Yunis, targeting the gate of a school that was sheltering displaced people.
Rafah crossing developments
“Israeli” Defense Minister Yoav Gallant confirmed in a meeting with the US envoy Brett McGurk that the occupation is ready to open the Rafah Border Crossing on the condition that Hamas does not return to the crossing.
He emphasized the need to find a solution to prevent arms smuggling into the Gaza Strip to facilitate the withdrawal of the occupation army from part of the Philadelphi Route and progress in negotiations.
During his meeting with McGurk, “Israeli” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reaffirmed his commitment to the “deal as long as Israeli red lines are maintained.”
