Israeli Occupation aggression continues for its 269th day
Ongoing conflict in Gaza: 269 days of rocket attacks on civilians
The Israeli Occupation’s aggression on Gaza has reached its 269th day, with relentless targeting of displaced civilians and the remaining infrastructure in the besieged enclave. Overnight, Israeli Occupation forces carried out airstrikes across Gaza, following earlier bombings that resulted in dozens of martyrs and injuries.
Fierce battles continue in the Shujaiya neighborhood of Gaza City, where resistance forces are steadfastly confronting the advancing Israeli Occupation troops.
Meanwhile, the Israeli Occupation’s Prime Minister, Defense Minister, and top security officials are engaged in extraordinary security consultations, while the opposition seeks to topple the government.
The Al-Qassam Brigades announced that they shelled the positions of Israeli Occupation forces entrenched in Shujaiya with mortar fire. Additionally, Saraya Al-Quds reported that they sniped an Israeli soldier in the same neighborhood.
Saraya Al-Quds also claimed responsibility for bombarding the Occupation forces’ positions in Shujaiya with a barrage of mortar shells.
Hebrew Broadcasting Corporation reported that the Israeli army’s operation in Shujaiya is expected to last several weeks, alleging that the mission’s objective is to gather intelligence for the recovery of captives.
In a related development, 18 soldiers were injured, including one critically, in a drone attack in the occupied Golan Heights.
