Nine injured in two traffic accidents last 24 hours
A representative from the Highway Patrol Department reported two traffic accidents Thursday that resulted in several injuries in the past 24 hours.
In statements on the Public Security Department (PSD) radio, a collision occurred between two vehicles at 10 AM, resulting in the injury of 8 individuals who were promptly transported to Al-Shuna Al-Janubiyah Hospital – the general condition of the injured individuals ranged from minor to moderate.
Additionally, a vehicle overturned at 10 AM on Wednesday, just before the Mawjib Al-Sufla station, resulting in the injury of one person in moderate condition, who was promptly taken to Ghor Al-Safi Hospital.
The Department’s representative warned against committing serious traffic violations, noting that a vehicle was caught traveling at a speed of 164 kilometers per hour on the Desert Highway, and another at a speed of 139 on the Dead Sea Road, adding that “legal measures” were taken against them.
