‘Israeli’ army continues Gaza assault for 390th day
‘Israeli’ military continued its extended offensive in Gaza for the 390th consecutive day, intensifying attacks on residential areas and reportedly carrying out numerous airstrikes that have resulted in significant civilian casualties.
Gaza Health Ministry reported that over 121 people have been killed in Gaza since Tuesday morning alone, with further casualties following continued air raids on densely populated areas like Beit Lahia in northern Gaza.
Medical services remain overwhelmed, with limited access to fuel and supplies, and civilians are often trapped in inaccessible areas amid ongoing bombardment.
Amid these conditions, Palestinian resistance factions continue to respond with defensive operations and ambushes, aiming to counter Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) in various combat zones across Gaza. The toll from the Israeli offensive since October 7 has escalated to over 43,000 fatalities and more than 101,000 injuries, with many civilians unable to receive aid due to the restricted movement of emergency personnel.
On October 7, Hamas’ military wing, the Al-Qassam Brigades, launched Operation Aqsa Typhoon in response to what they describe as ongoing Israeli transgressions in Palestinian territories. In response, the Israeli Occupation military launched “Operation Iron Swords,” which has led to further airstrikes and artillery fire across Gaza, resulting in extensive destruction of buildings and infrastructure.
In parallel, Hezbollah has initiated its own support campaign for Gaza, leading to repeated exchanges of fire across the Lebanon-Israeli Occupation border since October. The situation has driven widespread displacement in southern Lebanon due to intensified ‘Israeli’ airstrikes.
