Gaza under siege for 369 days: Israeli Occupation threaten new hospital massacre
The Israeli Occupation’s relentless assault on Gaza entered its 369th day, with heavy shelling and airstrikes continuing across the besieged territory.
Israeli Occupation warships intensified attacks on the shores of Khan Younis in southern Gaza, while various areas in the north face ongoing bombardment.
In a dire development, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza issued an urgent appeal, warning that hospitals in Gaza and northern regions are on the brink of shutting down due to the sustained attacks and lack of resources.
Among the most affected is Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza, where Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) have demanded the evacuation of medical staff and patients. Despite these threats, hospital administrators have vowed to continue providing care.
The situation at Kamal Adwan Hospital has become increasingly desperate, with reports of the IOF arresting a paramedic and obstructing the evacuation of premature infants, exacerbating the already dire humanitarian crisis. This follows a broader pattern of “Israel” imposing a tight siege on key facilities, including hospitals, and restricting the movement of medical supplies.
In response to the IOF’s orders, Gaza’s Ministry of Interior urged residents in northern Gaza not to comply with evacuation threats. Officials stressed that Israel’s claims of “safe corridors” and “evacuation zones” are deceptive, with civilians reportedly being targeted even in so-called safe areas, including schools, mosques, and displacement camps.
The death toll from the assault on Gaza has now reached 41,956, with over 97,590 injured since the start of the aggression on October 7, 2023. The humanitarian situation continues to worsen, with civilians, including children, bearing the brunt of the violence.
