Israeli Occupation aggression on Gaza continues for the 286th day
For more than 286 days, Gaza has endured relentless massacres, with death claiming mothers, fathers, grandparents, and terrorizing children. The Israeli Occupation has continued its assault by land, sea, and air since October 7, resulting in the deaths of 38,794 Palestinians and injuring 89,464 others.
The UN emphasized that hospitals and health centers must not be part of the war, condemning the targeting of medical facilities and stating firmly that “hospitals should not be war zones.”
In another development, a senior US Central Command official announced the dismantling of a pier established by the US military to deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza. The pier would be returned to the United States, having achieved its intended impact in what was described as an “unprecedented operation.”
Operation Al-Aqsa Typhoon was launched by Al Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, on October 7 in response to Israeli Occupation violations in the occupied Palestinian territories. In retaliation, the Israeli Occupation initiated Operation “Iron Swords,” conducting severe airstrikes across Gaza. These strikes resulted in thousands of deaths, thousands of injuries, and extensive destruction of buildings, residential towers, institutions, and infrastructure.
The number of Israeli Occupation soldiers killed rose to 682 since October 7, with 326 fatalities since the ground operation began on October 27. According to the Israeli Occupation military, 4,149 soldiers were injured since the assault on Gaza began, with 621 in critical condition, 1,049 moderately injured, and 2,509 with minor injuries.
