Karak police investigate death of young man found with gunshot wound

Karak police have launched an investigation after discovering the body of a young man with a gunshot wound inside his home, according to a Roya correspondent.

A source close to the investigation informed Roya that police were dispatched to the crime scene after receiving a report of a young man with a gunshot injury to the head.

The Karak Public Prosecutor, a forensic doctor, and a forensic laboratory team arrived at the scene to examine the body, which had a single gunshot wound to the head.

Samples were collected from the scene, and the public prosecutor ordered a forensic autopsy to be conducted on Tuesday morning to determine the cause of death. The investigation is ongoing.
