“Israel” claims it hit Hamas compound after massacre at UNRWA school in Nuseirat

The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) targeted Thursday morning an UNRWA school housing hundreds of displaced Gazans in the Nuseirat refugee camp in the Strip – which left over 37 dead so far, with dozens of others injured.

The Al-Aqsa Martyrs hospital in Deir al Balah said it had received 37 martyrs from the “Israeli” strike on the UN school, updating an earlier figure of 27 given by the Gaza media office.

The IOF claimed that its aircraft, in cooperation with the Shin Bet, bombed a compound used by Hamas inside the UNRWA school.

The IOF said that a fighter jet conducted a “precise strike on a Hamas compound embedded inside a UNRWA school in the area of Nuseirat.”

The Gaza Government Media Office said that a huge number of martyrs and wounded continue to flow into the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, which is overwhelmed with triple its clinical capacity, foreshadowing a real catastrophe that will lead to a greater increase in the number of martyrs.

It condemned the Israeli occupation’s genocide by committing these massacres, as well as the American military support for the Israeli occupation, giving it the “green light” to continue this genocide – according to the statement.
