European commission President under investigation for alleged support of occupation crimes
The International Criminal Court (ICC) on Monday has formally called for an investigation into the possibility of European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen’s complicity in the occupation’s war crimes and ongoing genocide in Gaza.
According to a document from the “Group of Rights Advocates for International Commitments” in France and the “Geneva International Institute for Peace Research,” evidence is presented regarding von der Leyen’s support for the Israeli occupation, enabling them “to commit ongoing war crimes and genocide in the Gaza Strip.”
The document suggests that von der Leyen’s statements “have aided or incited in any way the commission or attempted commission of crimes against humanity and genocide that are still being committed in the occupied Palestinian territories.”
