Five vehicle accidents, collisions within 24 hours in Jordan
Security agencies in Jordan have been actively responding to a series of vehicle accidents reported across different regions over the past 24 hours.
The incidents varied in nature and severity, beginning with a significant incident near the Intelligence Bridge towards the Interior Circle tunnel.
Authorities were alerted to a heavy vehicle overturning at this location, according to the Public Security Radio. The mishap damaged a light pole and disrupted traffic flow in the area.
In another instance early Monday morning, the Public Security Directorate (PSD) swiftly responded to a collision involving two vehicles on the busy Amman-Zarqa highway. Fortunately, no injuries were reported from this particular incident.
Further south, on the Wadi Araba road heading towards Aqaba, another collision occurred, resulting in a moderate injury. The injured individual was promptly treated at Ghor Al Safi Hospital.
Meanwhile, along Urdon Street towards Amman, another collision took place, resulting in two moderate injuries. Both individuals involved were transported to Prince Hussein Hospital for medical care.
Authorities also managed a vehicle overturning incident on the Desert Highway, fortunately without any injuries reported.
