Educational expert gives advice for Tawjihi exams
Educational expert Mohammad Abu Amara provided several tips for students taking the Tawjihi exams for the 2024 academic year.
He emphasized bringing personal identification, passport and residency permits for non-Jordanians, seating cards, and required documents.
Speaking on Roya TV’s “News at Seven,” Abu Amara stressed that students should not bring phones or electronic devices to the exam halls.
For pre-exam review, Abu Amara advised against trying to memorize new material right before the exam, as it could distract students and cause them to lose focus on essential information.
He recommended solving questions in the order they appear on the exam paper and skipping questions that are difficult, marking them for review later. He also suggested spending time on questions they are confident about.
Abu Amara emphasized shading the correct answer accurately for the scanner to recognize the response.
He urged teachers not to distract students through social media, noting that intensive review sessions can be distracting.
On Tuesday, 146,133 Tawjihi students will take the Islamic Education exam at 10 AM, distributed across various branches: scientific (58,606), literary (69,096), Sharia (98), industrial (6,034), home economics (7,784), agricultural (3,065), and hotel management (1,450).
