US, allies shoot down 28 Houthis drones in Red Sea
The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) announced that it had downed Saturday a “total of at least 28 uncrewed aerial vehicles) between 4:00 AM and 8:20 AM (Sanaa time)” launched by Yemen’s Houthis in the Red Sea.
CENTCOM added that no US or Coalition Navy vessels were damaged in the Houthi attack and no reported damage by commercial ships in the region.
Since November 19th, the Houthis have been conducting attacks on merchant ships in the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea suspected to be linked to the Israeli Occupation or heading to its ports, in response to the ongoing aggression against Gaza.
