“Israeli” army presents its Rafah evacuation plan to War Cabinet
The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) presented its plan to evacuate Palestinians from Rafah, Gaza to the War Cabinet, a statement from the “Israeli” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office said.
The proposed plan included the “operational strategy” for the IOF’s offensive in Rafah and the procedure to “evacuate the population from combat areas in the Gaza Strip,” the statement added.
It also claimed that they approved the delivery of humanitarian aid to south Gaza.
Over 2.3 million Palestinains sought refuge in the border city of Rafah, escaping the IOF’s devastating military operations in the remaining areas of the Strip.
Netanyahu stated earlier that a pause in fighting could be reached if Hamas lets go of its “unreasonable demands,” per his expression.
French President Emmanuel Macron reiterated earlier the necessity of a ceasefire in Gaza, expressing opposition to the planned “Israeli” attack on Rafah.
The French Foreign Ministry has emphasized the urgent need to reach a ceasefire agreement in Gaza, describing the humanitarian situation in the region as catastrophic.
It also stressed the importance of ensuring the protection of civilians in Gaza and the widespread delivery of aid to the people of the region as part of any ceasefire agreement.
