5.5-magnitude earthquake hits Turkey

Central Turkey experienced Tuesday morning an earthquake with a magnitude of 5.5, as confirmed by the European Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC).

The quake occurred at a depth of 12 km (approximately 7.46 miles), according to EMSC.
