Jordanian Army issues important statement regarding foreign drones
A senior military source in the Jordan Armed Forces – Arab Army revealed that two drones crashed in northern Jordan on Tuesday morning after veering off course and entering Jordanian airspace moments before impact.
The source stated the drones went down in the Wadi Saidour area of Irbid Governorate.
While no injuries were reported, the crash caused a fire in a wooded area. Civil Defense teams were contacted and successfully extinguished the blaze, which affected dry grasslands.
A military engineering inspection team was dispatched to the site to ensure no explosives remained that could endanger citizens or property.
