‘Israeli’ assault on Gaza enters 312th day amidst intensified fighting and casualties
The Israeli Occupation’s assault on Gaza has now entered its 312th day, following a statement from Abu Obaida, the spokesperson for the Al-Qassam Brigades, who reported that resistance fighters guarding ‘Israeli’ captives killed one prisoner and critically injured two others. Abu Obaida held the Netanyahu government responsible for the incidents.
This announcement comes as fierce clashes continue in Khan Younis and Rafah between resistance fighters and Israeli forces. The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) has acknowledged the death of a sergeant and the injury of two others due to sniper fire.
Al-Qassam Brigades reported that they targeted an IOF soldier with an “Ghoul” sniper rifle in the Swedish Village of Tal Sultan, west of Rafah. Additionally, IOF units operating northeast of Khan Younis were targeted by mortar fire.
According to the latest reports, 42 Palestinians have been killed in ‘Israeli’ airstrikes targeting several areas within the Gaza Strip, with 30 casualties in Khan Younis alone.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza has provided an updated death toll since October 7, reporting a total of 39,897 martyrs and 92,152 injuries.
In the West Bank, Al-Qassam Brigades mourned the death of martyr Tariq Dawood, who was assassinated by ‘Israeli’ special units near Qalqilya and whose body was subsequently detained by the ‘Israeli’ authorities.
