Education Ministry’s guidelines for Tawjihi exam takers
The Ministry of Education issued several messages and guidelines for students taking the General Secondary Education Certificate Examination (Tawjihi) for the 2024 academic year to ensure the smooth conduct of exams.
They confirmed the continuation of adding 10 extra minutes to each exam paper to compensate for time lost during paper distribution.
The guidelines urged students to arrive at the exam hall an hour before the session starts.
School gates will close at 10 AM for the first session and 1 PM for the second session, with no late entries allowed.
Students must bring their civil ID or passport (for Jordanians), a passport (for non-Jordanians), or a security card (for Syrian students without a passport) every exam day.
The ministry emphasized the importance of avoiding exam violations such as bringing mobile phones or electronic watches into the exam hall and leaving any exam-related materials, like paper scraps, outside to avoid administrative actions.
Students were encouraged to focus on studying and disregard rumors, seeking exam information from official sources only.
The ministry also announced the establishment of an operations room at its center to monitor the progress of the 2024 Tawjihi exams.
The operations room will handle feedback and inquiries from students and the community, preparing daily reports with observations and resolutions.
The contact numbers for the operations room, available to directors and the public on the ministry’s website and social media pages, are:
