Israeli Occupation aggression continues for 247th day

The Israeli Occupation continued its aggression on Gaza for the 247th day amid international anticipation for a ceasefire and prisoner exchange deal. Despite these efforts, the occupation forces committed another massacre in the Nuseirat camp, killing about 210 Palestinians and injuring hundreds more in a combined land, sea, and air operation to recover four captives.

The Israeli Occupation army announced it freed four captives held by Hamas since October 7. They were identified as Noa Argamani (25), Almog Meir (21), Andre Kozlov (27), and Shlomi Ze’ev (40), who were abducted from a “Hanofa” party.

They claimed the captives were rescued by Shabak and military forces from two locations in Nuseirat. Their health was reportedly stable, and they were taken to Tel Hashomer Sheba Medical Center for further examinations.

The rescue operation followed intensive airstrikes on central Gaza and a ground invasion of the Nuseirat camp.

Abu Obaida, the military spokesperson for the Al-Qassam Brigades, stated that the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) killed some of their captives during the massacre. He declared the operation a war crime and warned it would severely endanger the remaining captives’ lives and conditions.

Hamas affirmed that it still holds the majority of the captives and remains capable of capturing more.

Families of the captives expressed fear that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu might exploit the operation to undermine a prisoner exchange deal. Meanwhile, thousands demonstrated in Tel Aviv, demanding Netanyahu’s government negotiate the exchange. The protest led to the arrest of 30 settlers before being dispersed by the police with foul-smelling water.

The Israeli Occupation continued targeting civilians in Gaza, attacking by land, sea, and air, resulting in numerous deaths and injuries.

According to the latest non-final statistics from Gaza’s Ministry of Health, the death toll reached 36,731, mostly women and children, with 83,530 injured and thousands still trapped under the rubble.
