Israeli Occupation conducts military exercise in Golan Heights

Military training exercises were conducted by the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) in the northern areas of the Golan Heights and the Hula Plain starting on Monday and continuing until Thursday. As per an announcement by the authorities, Street No. 918 in Galilee will be periodically closed between 10:00 pm on Monday and 8:30 am on Wednesday. The area will also experience heightened military vehicle activity and residents will hear the sounds of explosions and gunfire.

These training exercises are taking place amidst a tense situation in the region, following clashes between Lebanese citizens, activists, and the IOF at the borders, particularly at the Shebaa Farms. The clashes were sparked by the Israeli Occupation army’s implementation of “engineering works” and the placement of barbed wire, leading to accusations from Lebanon that the Israeli Occupation violated Lebanese territory.

A few weeks ago, Hezbollah established a military site with two tents inside the occupied Shebaa Farms, where armed individuals are present. The Israeli Occupation claims to be pursuing diplomatic channels to secure the withdrawal of Hezbollah fighters from this site.
