No fatalities reported in traffic accidents within 24 hours

According to the traffic report released by the Public Security Directorate (PSD) Monday, there were no recorded deaths from traffic accidents in the past 24 hours.

A PSD spokesperson informed Amen FM that a mixer truck experienced a breakdown near the Jisr Al-Qusour area, prompting traffic officers to respond and ensure the smooth flow of traffic.

In another incident, a water tanker truck broke down near the Sports City roundabout, which is currently being addressed by the traffic department.

However, there were a few notable incidents. Sunday, a driver lost control of their vehicle and collided with a pole in the Umm Nuwara area.

This accident was a result of a sudden lane change. Additionally, a traffic accident involving two vehicles occurred on Kafr Jayez Road in Irbid, causing two individuals to sustain critical injuries.

The Central Traffic Department emphasized the importance of adhering to traffic laws and regulations.

The spokesperson specifically warned against sudden lane changes and speeding, highlighting the risks they pose in terms of losing control of the vehicle and potential accidents.
