Confrontations between resistance, ‘Israeli forces’ in Ramallah
Confrontations erupted between Palestinians and Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) in the city of Ramallah early Thursday, according to Palestinian media reports.
Media sources reported that the IOF stationed in the center of Ramallah fired tear gas and rubber bullets at Palestinians.
Notably, confrontations also broke out late Wednesday/early Thursday between Palestinian resistance fighters and IOF during an incursion into the city of Tulkarem.
Roya’s correspondent stated that IOF soldiers, supported by military vehicles and bulldozers, entered the city and opened fire, leading to violent confrontations.
He added that alarm sirens sounded in the Nour Shams refugee camp coinciding with the IOF raid into the city.
IOF soldiers positioned themselves around Thabet Governmental Hospital, imposing a strict siege and preventing ambulances and medical teams from leaving.
The IOF surrounded and deployed large bulldozers in the Nour Shams camp, while their snipers took positions on the rooftops of tall buildings along Nablus Street, adjacent to the Tulkarem and Nour Shams camps.
They also sent military reinforcements to the area amid the presence of drones in the city’s sky.
