Awqaf Minister meets Palestinian counterpart

Minister of Awqaf, Islamic Affairs, and Holy Sites Muhammad Al-Khalayleh held a meeting with his Palestinian counterpart Sheikh Hatem Al-Bakri at the Jordanian mission headquarters in Makkah Al-Mukarramah Saturday.

During the meeting, Khalayleh assured that the Jordanian Hajj missions are fully prepared to provide assistance to Palestinian pilgrims.

The Palestinian Minister of Awqaf emphasized the strong historical ties between the two peoples.

In an earlier statement to Roya, an official revealed that Jordan received a total of 5,300 Palestinian pilgrims from within the occupied territories.
