Jordanian army foils infiltration attempt on northern border

The Northern Military Zone announced Sunday that its units successfully thwarted an attempted border infiltration along the kingdom’s northern frontier.

According to an official military statement, the individual attempted to cross the border illegally into Jordanian territory.

Border forces applied the rules of engagement, detained the suspect, and subsequently transferred him to the relevant authorities for further investigation.
