Israeli Occupation’s aggression in Gaza continues for 281 days
Israeli Occupation army has continued its aggression against the Gaza Strip for the 281st consecutive day, targeting land, sea, and air since October 7, 2023. This has resulted in the deaths of 38,345 Palestinians and injuries to 88,295 others.
Meanwhile, a senior official from the Israeli Occupation disclosed Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s efforts to block an exchange deal. The official, cited by the Hebrew channel Kan, revealed that Netanyahu is personally overseeing the negotiations and has recently adopted a more rigid stance, making his positions public. Netanyahu is reportedly spending more time on the negotiations, scrutinizing every detail.
Izzat Al-Rishq, a leader of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), criticized Netanyahu for introducing new demands not previously discussed with mediators, accusing him of stalling the process.
Hebrew media, quoting officials from Tel Aviv’s negotiating team, concur that Netanyahu is hindering the exchange deal. Contrary to Netanyahu’s claims, Tel Aviv had agreed to a full withdrawal of occupation forces from the Gaza Strip’s second phase of the deal, according to Hebrew sources. The “chief of the Mossad” supports ongoing military pressure on Gaza but currently views the deal favorably.
Haaretz reported that Netanyahu’s refusal to withdraw from the Philadelphia axis is undermining the deal’s progress.
The occupation army’s death toll has reached 681 since October 7, with 325 casualties since the ground operation began on October 27. Additionally, 4,125 occupation soldiers have been injured, with 613 in serious condition, 1,038 moderately injured, and 2,474 with minor injuries.
In response to Israeli Occupation violations in the occupied Palestinian territories, Hamas’s military wing, Al-Qassam Brigades, launched Operation Aqsa Typhoon on October 7. Conversely, Israeli Occupation initiated Operation Iron Swords against Gaza, conducting violent raids across the Strip, resulting in hundreds of deaths, thousands of injuries, and extensive destruction of buildings, residential towers, institutions, and infrastructure.
