The UAE Ministry of Health announced on Thursday 479 new coronavirus (COVID-19) cases, bringing the caseload to 40,986.
To date, the total number of recoveries in the UAE reached 25,234 after around 1,217 new recovered cases had been reported.
Meanwhile, two fatalities were confirmed in the Gulf nation to raise the death tally to 286.
