His Majesty King Abdullah on received cables from senior officials and officers marking the 65th anniversary of the Arabisation of the leadership of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF), which falls on Monday, March 1.
Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II received similar cables on the occasion.
The officials recalled the landmark decision by His Majesty the late King Hussein as a turning point in Jordan’s history, paying tribute to the sacrifices of the Arab Army in defence of the homeland.
They commended King Abdullah’s ongoing efforts to support the JAF and its development and qualification to remain at the highest levels of readiness and professionalism, stressing on moving forward with determination in the process of construction and achievement, as Jordan is marching into the second centennial
