CENTCOM concludes seventh night of strikes against Iran

US Central Command (CENTCOM) announced the completion of its latest wave of military operations, marking the conclusion of a seventh consecutive night of targeted airstrikes against Iran. The massive aerial and maritime bombardment ended on July 17 at 9:30 p.m. Eastern Time.

The ongoing campaign represents a sustained effort by Washington to systematically degrade Tehran’s strategic and offensive assets following a severe breakdown in regional stability.

Multi-domain strikes

During the intensive overnight operations, US forces engaged a wide array of high-value targets across Iranian territory.

CENTCOM confirmed that the strikes successfully hit critical surveillance sites, vital military logistics infrastructure, heavily fortified underground weapons storage facilities, and key maritime capabilities.

To execute the widespread operation, the US military deployed a heavily integrated force package.

The multi-domain assault employed advanced fighter aircraft, unmanned aerial drones, and frontline warships, alongside several other supporting military assets.

Enforcing total naval blockade

The military campaign is advancing in tandem with severe economic and maritime restrictions. Acting under the direct guidance of the President, CENTCOM stated that it is continuing to hold Tehran accountable while explicitly shifting into an enforcement phase of a full naval blockade against all Iranian ports.

The enforcement of the blockade aims to completely cut off maritime entry and exit points to the country, freezing its ability to move goods, energy, or military equipment by sea.

As the confrontation intensifies, Washington has maintained a massive combat footprint in the region. According to CENTCOM, more than 50,000 American service members are actively operating across the Middle East theater, with command officials emphasizing that U.S. forces remain highly vigilant, lethal, and ready for any further escalation.
