Argentine Diego Armando Maradona, world football legend, on Wednesday died after suffering a heart attack, at the age of 60.
Maradona had suffered a heart attack earlier today while he was in the city of Tigre, north of Buenos Aires, Argentine media reported.
Maradona had recently underwent an urgent surgery to remove a blood clot from his head.
Maradona is a global football legend, as he led the Argentina national team to win the World Cup in 1986, and he also was the star of many football clubs, especially with Italia’s Napoli.
