The heat wave that affected the Kingdom will taper off due to a cold and wet air mass that will prevail, on Friday, pushing temperatures 2 to 3 degrees Celsius below their annual average, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.
As for tomorrow, the cold air mass is expected to deepen, pushing temperatures 10 degrees below their annual average, with westerly brisk winds, picking up at times.
The JMD warned of poor visibility due to the weather conditions, that is forecast to cause flash floods in the valleys and low-lying areas.
Temperatures in the capital Amman will reach a high of 25 degree Celsius during daytime, sliding to 12 degrees at night.
Temperatures in the port city of Aqaba are forecast to reach a high 36 degrees, while lows will stand at 23 degrees at night.
