A total of 21994 Covid-19 cases were recorded in Italy on Tuesday, pushing the caseload in the country to 564778, AKI News Agency cited the Italian Ministry of Health as saying.
Covid-19, a lung disease caused by the novel and highly contagious coronavirus, killed 221 within the last 24 hours as the death toll tops 37700, including 255090 active case, according to the ministry.
