The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced that 42 new COVID-19 cases were registered in the strip during the past 24 hours.
In a daily brief on COVID-19 in the coastal enclave, the ministry said that the total number of infections in the strip since last March has reached 2,400, including 1,830 active cases and 17 deaths.
“A total of 37 new coronavirus patients have recovered,” it added.
