A civil society institution operating in the Deir Alla district was closed after an employee tested positive for the COVID-19 on Thursday.
The Governor of Balqa Nayef Hajaya told the Jordan News Agency (Petra) that the woman was transferred to a quarantine facility in the Dead Sea area, noting that the investigation teams began collecting samples from people who came into contact with her.
Additionally, the homes of the patient and her family were isolated for sterilization, he stated.
