Minister of Industry, Trade, and Supply Tariq Hammouri decided to extend working hours for all economic activities until 01:00 a.m. effective as of Thursday
In a statement, Hammouri said that the decision was based on a recommendation by the Work, Production and Supply Chains Committee and came as a response to a request by the Jordan Chamber of Commerce in coordination with the private sector. He said that curfew hours for citizens were reduced, now starting at 02:00 a.m instead of 01:00 a.m effective as of today
Any government decision or procedure will be reviewed and studied by the concerned bodies to best serve public interest, the minister stated
