Mexico reported on Tuesday 5,172 new confirmed coronavirus infections and 301 additional fatalities in the last 24 hours
Mexico’s deputy Health Minister Hugo Lopez-Gatell said that the new COVID-19 fatalities bring the death toll to 39,485, while the total number of cases hit 349,396, according to the county’s news agency
The actual number of COVID-19 cases and deaths is probably many times higher, Gatell noted
