Oman’s Health Ministry said on Monday that it recorded five new deaths from the coronavirus pandemic, raising the death toll since the outbreak to 218.
The official Omani News Agency, quoting a ministry statement, said that 1,557 infections with the virus were recorded in the last 24 hours, bringing the caseload to 47,735, while a total of 29,146 COVID-19 patients have recovered.
