Prime Minister Omar Razzaz on Thursday issued a circular to all ministers to only use their designated electric cars, and not to use four-wheel vehicles except in field trips outside the capital.
Razzaz instructed ministers to hand over their government four-wheel drives to the Prime Ministry for use in field trips, as needed, while excess vehicles will be auctioned.
The PM said the decision aims to preserve public money, cut down on expenses and ensure optimal use of government vehicles.
