The Iraqi Ministry of Health said Saturday that 10 new coronavirus deaths were recorded, raising the country’s death toll since the outbreak began to195.
It also said 306 new COVID-19 infections were registered across the country, raising the caseload to 6,179, while 66 patients have recovered, bringing total recoveries to 3,110 and leaving 2,874 still receiving treatment in hospitals.
Since Sunday, the first day of Eid Al Fitr holiday, the Iraqi Health Ministry has imposed a comprehensive ban on mobility between governorates to stem the spread of the virus.
