The Johns Hopkins University, which launched a project to monitor the epidemic in the country and the world, reported that the death toll from the pandemic in the United States rose on May 9, by 1615 new deaths, while the total number of coronavirus cases in the country rose by 25,621 new infections.
According to the latest university data, 130,941 cases of Cored-19 have been registered in the United States so far, including 78,794 deaths, which is more than twice the number of any other country in the world.
