The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) announced Saturday the death of another soldier during the ongoing battles in the Gaza Strip.
It added that the commander of the commando formation, Amir Shir Ben David, 43 years old, was killed in a battle in the southern Gaza Strip.
The IOF announced the deaths of 588 soldiers and officers since Oct. 7, 2023 and 248 since the start of the ground invasion of the Strip on October 27.
According to the IOF, 3,067 occupation soldiers have been injured since the start of the their aggression on Gaza, with 482 of them in critical condition, 811 with moderate injuries, and 1,774 with minor injuries.
