His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II has expressed condolences to King Mohammed VI of Morocco over the victims of the earthquake that struck on Friday.
Earlier Saturday, King Abdullah directed the government to provide all the necessary support for Morocco.
The King stressed Jordan’s solidarity with the people and government of Morocco at this challenging time, expressing sympathies to the bereaved families and wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
Friday, a 6.8-magnitude quake struck 72 kilometers southwest of tourist hotspot Marrakesh at 11:11 pm, the US Geological Survey reported.
