The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) detained at least 13 Palestinians Tuesday, mostly ex-prisoners, during a large-scale detention campaign in the town of Kobar near Ramallah, as reported by the Palestinian news agency WAFA.
The head of Kobar municipality Shawkt Al-Barghouti said the IOF broke into the town and detained 13 Palestinians.
Following the raid, IOF soldiers fired tear gas at local youth but, fortunately, no injuries were reported.
Barghouti pointed out that this raid came after the Israeli Occupation settlers attempted to establish a settlement outpost in the al-Batin area in the town, but the residents were able to expel them and dismantle the outpost.
