10 nations issue joint condemnation over ‘Israeli’ assault on Global Sumud Flotilla

The Foreign Ministers of ten countries across Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and South America have issued a unified, multi-national condemnation targeting the renewed ‘Israeli’ military assaults against the Global Sumud Flotilla.
The joint declaration was signed by the Foreign Ministers of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Republic of Indonesia, the Kingdom of Spain, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the Federative Republic of Brazil, the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, the Republic of Türkiye, the Republic of Colombia, the State of Libya, and the Republic of Maldives.
The diplomatic coalition characterized the convoy as a peaceful, civilian humanitarian initiative specifically organized to draw global attention to the catastrophic humanitarian suffering of the Palestinian people.
International law violations
In their joint statement, the ministers recalled past ‘Israeli’ military interventions targeting previous civilian fleets navigating international waters.
They strongly condemned the continuation of hostile acts directed at humanitarian activists and civilian vessels.
The ministers explicitly stated that the current military maneuvers -including direct assaults against the physical vessels and the subsequent arbitrary detention of the participants aboard- constitute blatant violations of both international law and international humanitarian law.
Expressing serious concern over the immediate safety, security, and well-being of the civilian participants, the ten foreign ministers called for the immediate release of all detained activists, demanding full respect for their fundamental rights and personal dignity.
Call for global accountability
The ten-nation council further emphasized that these repeated attacks against peaceful humanitarian endeavors reflect a continuous disregard for international law and established principles of freedom of navigation.
Concluding their statement, the ministers called upon the international community to urgently assume its legal and moral responsibilities.
They urged global bodies to ensure the absolute protection of civilians and active humanitarian missions, while demanding concrete steps to end impunity and guarantee strict accountability for these maritime violations.
