Qatar, UAE condemn Iranian attacks on Kuwait, Bahrain, Jordan

Qatar and the United Arab Emirates strongly condemned Iranian attacks targeting Kuwait, Bahrain, and Jordan, warning of the risks of further escalation in the region.

In a statement issued Wednesday, Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs described the attacks as a serious violation of the sovereignty of the three countries and a breach of international law.

The ministry stressed the need to spare the region the consequences of what it described as unjustified escalation and called for efforts to reduce tensions and restore security and stability at both the regional and international levels.

Qatar also reiterated its full solidarity with Kuwait, Bahrain, and Jordan and expressed support for measures aimed at preserving their sovereignty and security.

Separately, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the attacks in the strongest terms and said they threaten regional security and stability.

The ministry stressed that these “terrorist attacks constituted a flagrant violation of the sovereignty of the three countries” and warned against actions that could further escalate tensions in the region.

The UAE reaffirmed its solidarity with the three countries and voiced support for efforts to safeguard their security and stability.
