‘Israeli’ forces intercept final Gaza flotilla ships

  • All 77 vessels in a Gaza-bound flotilla have reportedly been intercepted by ‘Israeli’ forces.
  • Hundreds of international activists were detained during the naval operation.

‘Israeli’ naval forces have reportedly intercepted all 77 vessels taking part in a maritime mission aimed at breaking the blockade on the Gaza Strip, according to organizers.

The flotilla, which set sail with international volunteers and humanitarian activists, was stopped more than a day after initial interceptions began on Monday.

Organizers said the ‘Israeli’ navy deployed a “fully equipped naval fleet” to board the ships at sea, detaining hundreds of foreign crew members participating in the mission.

The vessels were part of a coordinated attempt to reach the Gaza Strip, which has been under a blockade for years amid ongoing conflict.

Reports indicate that passengers included activists, aid workers, and international volunteers from multiple countries. Their current status has not been independently verified.

The incident adds to a series of maritime confrontations linked to efforts to deliver aid or challenge restrictions on Gaza, raising renewed international attention on the blockade and enforcement operations at sea.
