The Foreign Ministry condemned the redemolition of Palestinian houses in the residemtial cluster of Khirbet Hamsa in the occupied Aghwar.
The ministry’s spokesperson, Dhaifallah Fayez, said that the demolition and displacement operations, as well as the confiscation of lands, are a violation of international law and a clear violation of human rights rules and of Israel’s obligations as the occupying power in the occupied Palestinian territories.
Fayez added that the Israeli settlement policy in its entirety and in its details, including annexation and confiscation of land, construction of housing units and displacement of Palestinians from their lands, is a grave violation of international law and United Nations resolutions, foremost of which is Security Council Resolution No. 2334.
Fayez called on the international community to take decisive stances to pressure Israel to stop its illegal practices that undermine peace efforts and opportunities.
